“Because We’re Worth It”
YES were commissioned to provide an intercom solution for world leaders L’Oreal at their Hair Academy headquarters on Deansgate, Manchester following the malfunction of their existing video intercom system. YES surveyor’s inspected the original cabling installed and decided to reuse it following stringent testing procedures. This was a relief for the client as the Hair Academy was an “open-plan” design and would have taken a lot of time and effort to ensure cables would not be visible should the original cable had not been “fit-for-purpose”. The cost saving was another major factor in the installation due to the client only having to pay for the reduced labour and materials costs.
“Cardigan Fields Forever”
Yorkshire Electronic Security carried out the 6 monthly service of the CAME barrier and intercom systems at the X-Leisure, Cardigan Fields Leisure Complex on Kirkstall Road in Leeds. Due to the reliability of the equipment installed previously by YES engineers there were no major problems found leading to a simple service visit by our team.
“Leaders of the Paxton”
YES management would like to thank Paxton Access for the comprehensive NET2 training provided at the Gomersal Hotel earlier this month. Product training is something that we feel passionate about at YES as our customers see the benefits of efficient installations time and time again.
YES = MC3
YES were approached by Forwarding Company MC3 Logistics to carry out repairs to their deteriorating Pulnix perimeter protection system. Following an initial site visit YES realised this could prove quite a challenge due to some poor workmanship and repairs carried out over the years. The excessive distances between the beams had resulted in considerable voltage drop to the furthest devices. This resulted in YES engineers installing a more appropriate power supply to cope with the distance and voltage required and replace damaged cabling and containment where required.
Perimeter protection systems in general require regular preventative maintenance to keep them at optimum reliability as any slight movement on the beam position can render them ineffective. If these checks are carried out on a regular 6 monthly basis the system will prove very reliable.
